Can you believe this??? This is yet another use of the 504 : a snowplow! I think
I'd better let Jerry describe his great creation, otherwise my enthusiasm might
overwhelm you all !! ;-))
" This is my 82 504 D wagon snowplow," Jerry says, "it's the
one I retired and felt sorry for it sitting there doing nothing, So I put it
to work even though it has 2 cracked pistons, a cracked head, and the tranny
scratches in a couple gears. I live in North Idaho, USA and I use it for clearing
my parking lot and a neighbors driveway. I have a couple of old diesel blocks
and tranny's in the back end for weight and chains for traction and has plenty
of power and doesn't spin the tires hardly at all. I have a hand crank inside
to raise the blade. It does an awesome job!"
You too, Jerry, you really did an awesome job building this unique 504 snowplow! Congratulations!
