This is a photo I took in Madagsacar, in June 2000.
It's a simple everyday scene in that beautiful country, where the "Taxi-brousse"
(inter city taxis) can still cross some ancient oxcarts... And of course, over
ther also, 98% of the "taxi-brousse" are good old 504 Station Wagons,
well overloaded as they should, using hand made roof galeries! Yo'll notice
that, despite the surely incredible number of miles they already ran, these
504s are still in an ecellent shape!
And I can tell you, it really is a great pleasure to cross that many 504s in
a single day! Hmm.. Iwish we were still in the 70s... ;-))
