The image of the week!!
A few months ago, Jacques Goddet, the founder of the most famous Sport
newspaper in France, ("L'équipe") died. I went on their
web site to learn a bit more on mr. Goddet's life, and guess what I found??
A photo of him during the "Tour de France" 1974, which is one
of the most famous bicycle race in the world. And, as you can see, he
is using a 504 sedan!
The story is that he was also the director of this "Tour de France"
race, and thus he had a special car to follow the race : the rear part
of the roof was cut off so that he could stand up exactly as he is on
this photo!
I don't have much info on the other modifications made, so if anyone knows
some more, feel free to email me!!
